*wheep* Among one of the Gundams I've yet to see

Lemee tell you, hands down, I'm a gundam fanatic. And I'm not jibber jabberin' about no G-wing crap (no offense you like that series, lol), I'm talkin' the juicy stuff, the UC era. The sad part about that is that I've seen an abundance of Alternate Universe Gundam, but I have tons of UC stuff to see. Well, the reason I tied that life story in was because I really really wish I knew what the hell was goin on in this movie, I do. Ok, on the task at hand. Your visuals are very creative. I don't think I've ever seen anyone animate something that good with what looked entired composed out of the pencil tool. I mean hell, I never knew an animatino could look that good just using it; I learn something new every day. Audio was a good choice, I love that adventerous Japanese stuff when put up with fighting mecha, reminds me of the Gundam X opening. Great job on this, all fandom aside, New Grounds really does need more Gundam material on it; at least mecha. Great job, keep up the good work.

For the UC era is second to none.

I get a kick out of this series.

A great installment to the series you're going for. I, once again, like what you did with the character sprites. You hold true to your word of having more action and less story in this one. That would have been a tad problem if the battle scenes were boring, but I thouht they were done very well. I got a good laugh at how X and Megaman were dodging those flames. Audio was good as well, very well placed and chosen (especially the BGM). Keep up the good work on the series, and congrats on your daily 4th trohphey.

CheveLoco responds:

thank you i am glad u liked it

Shut up, Bill!

Oooooooooooooooooh, I like, I like. The opening to this is very cool. You do a great job of laying down the foundation for characters in this episode. I'm not familiar with Nameless and his sister, not to mention his dark master. Too many a time has it been when there have been good flash movies like this, but lay no path for character development. In contrast, I'm now wondering what kind of dark spell Nameless recieved, what sinister plot does his master hold for him, who's the only one who's beaten nameless, and....who's Bill? (I loved that part, ha ha ha). Excellent visuals and great choice of music, this could turn out to be a really great series. I strongly hope that you'll continue work on it; excellent job.

MushiX responds:

You ask a lot of good questions... ALL of which will be answered by the end of the series. You will understand who and what every character is, what's going on in the shadows, and why Nameless is what he is. When planning the story, I left no stone unturned, no secret unanswered. Episode 1 is just a peek at a fairly complex story... complex because it takes place in 9 short episodes, and still has a story that fully-develops itself.

Twisted.

Wow, that was pretty...different. The message being conveyed here (at least to me) is pretty damn deep. I liked your visuals a lot, they had a uniquiqeness to them. There wasn't a whole lot to be admired in the audio department, but the audio did it's job, nothing more, nothing less. The humor was pretty dark, but I got a few guilty laughs out of it. Very cool style and message, I admire artists who are able to come out on a limb and make something creative like this. Keep up the good work.

Virgilcomic responds:

Thanks. Glad you liked its twistedness.

Yeah, you have to die now.

Right....you must die. It's come to my conclusion that a flash movie so delicious in original plot and visuals will soon end up taking over the flash community world and devastate all. It's for the good of everyone of you are destroyed.... Bah, now for a release from all the complementive mumbo jumbo, your visuals really were awesome; that scene with the sparks flying off the Tower was amazing. The audio was excellent, perfectly chosen at the right parts. Amazing ending. I strongly encourage you to keep it up and continue the series, it's amazing what you've done here. Keep up the Excellent work, honestly, you've made one hell of a movie here.

Fr0st-yo responds:

lol, tnx very much.

Ooooo, belly dancer, ha ha ha.

This episode seems like a real plot filler, and it's done very well. It explains a lot for those who haven't seen the Prolouge, and for those who have, it gives it a more in depth explanation of events. Visuals are getting better, I see you've gotten some help in that department; it really helps. Your audio is really nice, I really liked the flute hymn when that one guy with the green mask came out. The only thing I didn't understand **Spoiler** was who died at the end? I saw the skull, but was it the King or the guy with the green mask? Oh well, in any case, nicely executed. Looking forward to the battle in the next episode. Keep up the good work.

mmark-oldflash responds:

For the spoiler, that's that cliffhanger.

You've got an amazing flash career ahead of you.

That was some amazing work. It's been a while, and I mean a reaaaaaly lone while, since I've voted this high on a sprite movie. You really really portrayed your characters very well. Most people try making Megaman movies, but fall short by giving all the characters the same type of attitutude or outlook. You made an awesome balance of character in this, especially between X and megaman. The visuals were done awesome, you really did what it took to get the effect of the moment (that attempt to warp out of the lab had me actually laughing, good stuff). Audio was great, neatly organized. And this even had an opening, can't argue with that. You've done soem great work here, I always love a good megaman flash, and you did this with class. Keep up the excellent work.

CheveLoco responds:

thanx for your review..and like you point out...i tried to give each megaman a different personality..nice to know people have noticed that...i'll work hard on the second one..again thanx

I agree, all solutions come down to fire and bombs

I really like the mood in this movie. Just some girl (well...ok, she's clearly got problems, but it puts her in a normal situation) sweeping the sidewalk having "one of those days" when some jerk comes up and sets her off. The audio choice was well thought out, it fit the character's persona. I love the expressions on her face, ha ha. I liked the option to choose the ending and enjoyed seeing the results. That flinging of the match was really cool looking. Your visuals and style seem to be taking some good shape, the reviewer before me states it as well. Hmmm....I think I just reviwed one after him on another one of your movies not too long ago....weird. Anyways, keep up the good work.

Blaklyon responds:

This series just tells the viewer what makes people go crazy. If you think this girl is fucked up in the head from seeing this, you should see her In later episodes. she gets worst due to constant abuse from everybody.

Those damn bicycle bombs get 'em every time.

A nice little short. The graphics were on an average scale, but I never take visuals much into account when rating movies anyways (unless the movies are ment to be abstract or something). The content is pretty cool; that chick looks freakin' psycho, I love the jolty movements. The audio is cool, it adds a nice mood for your movie, kinda like the reviwer, RyanAn said before me. It wasn't too bad for "short" standards. Looks like an opening to a lot of good stuff to follow. Nice work.

Blaklyon responds:

Well don't worry. there will be more demented genocide fun to come in the future I hope.

A strange series.

Hmmm, I've seen all of your work involving this series, and it's definitely one of the more original of it's kind. The music chioce is pretty well done, it adds to that lonely desolate feeling you seem to be projecting in this series. The visuals are very choppy and sometimes kind of jotty, but hey, that's rarely a factor in how I judge movies (unless it's main theme is the visuals, like abstract movies). It's a pain in the ass, I know, to make good animated visuals in flash, especially if you're doing it by mouse. Try to compress your adio a bit next time, the song during meditation seems to be what made this movie so big. If you don't know how to compress audio, go to the NG forums and there's a section that helps specifically in areas like this; just reading things from there has done me worlds of good. I'd try to get some more character development in your episodes. It's the 2nd (or 3rd) installment, and I still don't know the main character's name or what kind of person he is, yet he's already getting ready for something huge. If you've got it all planned out, the don't mind me. Just don't spread yourself too thin on trying to make a huge series. On a side note, this series kind of reminds me of a book called "The Giver". Hmmm..anways, don't let negative reviews discourage you. Work on your story and element of surprise a bit more and you'll attract much better audience and scores. Good luck.

Hybrination responds:

Well... i had a name for him in my original writing, but i thought it unnessecary, because these people have no individuality, he is basically like the rest, but is experiencing what most cannot, call it an anomaly as in the matrix ( wasnt inspired by it, wrote this before i saw it) and also i have read the giver, it partly inspired me in the colorless world, most of this i came up with while taking a crap, i thought the dream world as being another form of your life, and maybe after dying your second life IS your dream world (nothing to do with series) and came up with this... thanks for the review also it was very helpful, i started compression on some music, but i liked that song too much to make it of crappy quality.....
