Ah ha ha, cool, he rode his lightsaber, ha ha ha

Well that was a pretty nifty movie, I don't see movies like that too often. However, I do agree with GreenVein on the last review. You have two different styles going on here. Textured backgrounds and then colorless characters. I think that's what took away from the overall feeling the most. Your lightsaber battle was great, and the tension building up to the last part was funny and well delivered. Keep up the great work, I hope to see more of this in the future.

Splice responds:

yeah, totally agree with you on the two styles. Well, we learn from what we do. Cheers for the review,

Hmmmm....it had it's goods and bads.

This really falls into a neutral category with me. It was good at times, I liked how your movements falled in line with the musics, but....I just can't get over the fact that they're..well...sticks. It kind of lets off an unintentional humor, especially when the other guy keeps poking his head up out of nowhere. Well, it was pretty decent. Maybe more setting involvement next time? Pretty good job.

Gman250 responds:

thanks for the review... i'm working on flash, i'm still not that great but im getting better, this stick thing only took about 5-6 hours, like i said, i wanted sticks to begin with and i thought it was in a pretty good state to upload.

Good message.

Nicely delivered. It could have used some more animation and focus on certain parts. But all in all, it was pretty good. I recall seeing a movie like this as well, it was pretty controversial; seeing as the guy who made it used his old year book to cross off all the people he wanted to kill. Wow. Anyways, like I said, nice effort and good message.

Wow. i want to see that... what was it called...?

Truly a Newgrounds Museum.

Just awesome. You really pulled it off. I was expecting generally known flashes to be in here, but was shocked when I saw the X-Ray Glasses Voodoo man and the UFO vs. the Army pictures. I'd forgotten all about those games! I've been going to newgrounds since late '99. Seeing all this stuff was of great sentimental value, especially when you had that Kat's picture with "Gentlemen, we have control of all your bases". That truly frightens me. Awesome graphics and music selection; and easter eggs for that matter! The only thing I could have suggested was that you put in Unicron's theme (the Portals old theme song) for a music selection, that would have been awesome, especially to old viewers. Excellent job, you've outdone yourself.

poxpower responds:

Thanks a lot! About that music...
I originally though I would find each and every music loop from the original works, so that when you arrived at a pic, the appropriate music starts. Well, that would have been around 30 music loops, so that would have taken a lot of time to find and the Museum would have been very close to 5mb, and I would have had to reduce the quality even more, wich was a no-no.
For Unicron's theme: I considered it, but I didn't find the loop in the audio portal, and I didn't want to start an all-out search for it. I don't know how to record sound from the comp, because if I did, I would have taken it from the Tf movie, which I have on my comp. Also, I was extremely tired ( both physically and mentally) at the end of the project and I just wanted to submit it as soon as possible for you guy! :)
Think about it: College + 100+ hours of work in a single month!
To that, I add "Nut's"!

Bleh...

Errrr....what? I understand stupid humor, but all that was much too random. Your story was too choppy, too. Dr. Wily doesn't even exist during the Reploids time, or Megaman himself for that matter. The concept of this being Dr. Wily's revenge didn't make much sense either. Just seems too slapped together.

Cactaur-Jack responds:

That's why Mega asked himself what a reploid was... Eventhough it's random, try to pay attention, You probably didn't get Pulp Fiction either... Besides, RANDOM=FUNNY. or most people think so...

What the hell?

Umm...right. So you moved a few pictures around with some music. Ehhh, it didn't have any direction or point. Oh well, good for getting out aggression I suppose. Just seemse a little too simple.

Awwww, I thought you improved this :(

Dang, when I saw this, I was really hoping you made some improvements to it. However, it still bluntly exploits critical points in FFVI and FFVII in the beginning (thanks for reminding me again about Kefka -blanking- the -blank-. Well, as I said before when I last reviewed this movie, this song is much to heavy for the humor that goes on in here. Just as FrostGiant said, it gets too cornball. I'm telling you, it just doest work seeing hands meet and seperate (very symbolic, nice job) to a bird flying into a window (cornball!). The two just don't mix. Well, it's still a nice video, I hope you make more and improve; I'll definitely keep an eye out for one. Keep it up!

Great job. Your audio choice combined with the style of animation and the message here gives this a good impact effect. For some reason, the industry part really effected me; dunno why. I like how you transfer the Colubia into the bullet; very creative. Just to stand on an opposing side to Iamgod666's review, I can understand how it might seem unfair to see so much attention to these seven people opposed to everyday heroes, but honoring these seven people who died, on a re-entry of all occasions, is better than no honor at all. Great job on your flash; great sense of style.

Bachine responds:

Thanks so much. Im glad you cought that, I dont know most people probobly wouldnt. Thanks

I can now rest with a sense of peace

Yeah, what the fuck was up with that part of the movie!? I waited what seemed like FOREVER for this guy to bust out some pissed off Vader moves, and all he does is swing the damn lightsaber and it's a screan transition! Damn you Lucas!!!! Well, you did justice but putting your own version of what happened, I liked how you had him use the force to attack the raiders, nice job. I think the only thing that really hurt this was that there could have been at least two different bacgrounds (or camera angles), some lasting intro music would have been good when you had sound clips talking about Anakin in the beginning. Oh, and during the battle scene "Duel of the Fates" would have been a great song to use. Everything that was here though was done really nice, I like your animation. Keep up the good work.

SolidSacketh responds:

Yeah dude, we got jipped out of what would have been my favorite scene in the film...I thought maybe the dvd would have a deleted scene of more tusken raider combat, but it didnt. I tried to get duel of the fates on wav file but I couldn't find it, only mp3s, and I'm not sure how to convert those to wavs. You're right though, the battle should have that song, but after hours of searching, I said forget it. Oh, and thanks for the review dude.

It was ok..

There's not much in the way here of depth. I liked your intro music, that was pretty nifty. It just felt like it got to the point too fast without anything really funny happening. I think with a little more work and twists it can be a lot more funny. Good luck.
