Bless your heart.

Goin' on a week of servers not working for dial up users and no higher ups have addressed the problem. You even ATTEMPTING to make things easier for dial up users is a blessing. I may not have got this thing to play (I mean it when I say servers have been really REALLY bad right now for dial up) but I'm giving you straight 9's for even THINKING about dial up. If anyone else thinks that's unfair, I don't care! Look in my profile, I've made tons and tons of reviews as fair as humanly possible; I'm allowed one freebee and it belongs to Chad Klaiber, dammit. With this week barely even being able to watch movies, it's the thought that counts.

It looks a bit off.

Granted your 3d visuals are really nice looking, it doesn't look like the dimension-impared sticks fit into that world very well. When the first stick got shot, it just looked odd after seeing these really cool bullets fly by and then see something that looks like a piece of paper fall to the ground. Sticks don't necessarily have to look that way, some people still use sticks and move them so well they look semi-real. The NG author Jason Noto does that pretty well, I recommend checking out some of his work just to see how he draws and animates them (his style is really basic but he does it really well in my oppinion). The audio was pretty good as well; not a lot of variety, but it did it's job. I encourage you to keep it up, it could really turn out to be something cool.

Hmmm...kinda strange.

Still kind of weird to see an atheist wage war on religion like that. Most I know just ignore it and are pretty passive, I guess that's just why I have a hard time seeing the motive in the character. Visuals were ok. You took a nice shortcut around animating by switching between two symbols using alpha. That's cool for short stuff, but I wouldn't recomend it for longer stuff. SFX were pretty well chosen, though there really wasn't much variety; so their effect was pretty decent. As I said before, I just have trouble seing the concept behind the character and the plot, so the style was so-so.

As promised (sorta) your official review.

I FINALLY got this movie loaded. I talked to you in the BBS and told you I couldn't get this movie loading. After a persistant pain in the ass struggle, it finally worked. Ok, you're right, you did put a considerable amount of work into this. There are a few things I stated that did remain though the entire movie. 1: There was a noticable gap of missing animation. It was just too much symbol movement and motion tweening. I'm not saying that's a bad thing! Its just that it'd be better to have a tad original animation in there somewhere. To quote the dude of the Arrogancy series, Tweening is good, but not for duplicating movement. Some of your sfx were good, but what the problem comes down to is voice acting. I think you do have the right potential to do good voice acting, but it just seemed like you were whispering too much into the mic. Don't be afraid to put some emphasis in your voice; it can really pay off. I don't want to make it sound like you did everything wrong. Your visuals are off to a good strart. Your backgrounds look nice; try to put in some movement though, like waving grass (moving black lines does the trick pretty nice) or something. It's a good start, keep on practicing.

Pretty funny...

I got halfway though your movie. It's as best as I can do, since Newgrounds is being really weird on me right now and I'm lucky if a movie loads at all. Anyways, though I take WWII very seriously, I realize that if we can't laugh about something so unracially biased (at least from what I saw) we're kind of going in circles. So with that said, I'm rating your movie with all political views aside, since you never went overboard in taking a side of Axis or Allies; they both got rocked pretty good. Visuals were done nicely, I liked the fast paced action and creativity/irony of a lot of the events. Especially that grenade one. Very good sound effects, fit in very well and they did their job. Good creativity, it wasn't jsut random killing and explosions, it actually had some thought put into the way things played out. You did a pretty damn good job here, nice work.

wow thanks for the review. its going to help me alot in the next one. thanks for taking the time

It's too good, too good I tell you!

Amazing work. You really teamed up with the right person to do Links voice, you two worked together awesome on this project. Your visuals were great, you stayed true to the Legend of Zelda art and your own, that's awesome. Your audio is excellent as well, I loved the voices. Creativity and style were hilarious, I loved that picture Ganondorf gave Link, that was too good. For some reason, my voting bar isn't loading, so I can't vote on your movie at the moment; I apolgize for that and will vote as soon as the site allows me. Not that you'll need the extra points, Mr. Daily feature, ha ha. Excellent job, I strongly encourage you to keep up the amazing work.

P.S. The easter Eggs rocked.

*wheep* Among one of the Gundams I've yet to see

Lemee tell you, hands down, I'm a gundam fanatic. And I'm not jibber jabberin' about no G-wing crap (no offense you like that series, lol), I'm talkin' the juicy stuff, the UC era. The sad part about that is that I've seen an abundance of Alternate Universe Gundam, but I have tons of UC stuff to see. Well, the reason I tied that life story in was because I really really wish I knew what the hell was goin on in this movie, I do. Ok, on the task at hand. Your visuals are very creative. I don't think I've ever seen anyone animate something that good with what looked entired composed out of the pencil tool. I mean hell, I never knew an animatino could look that good just using it; I learn something new every day. Audio was a good choice, I love that adventerous Japanese stuff when put up with fighting mecha, reminds me of the Gundam X opening. Great job on this, all fandom aside, New Grounds really does need more Gundam material on it; at least mecha. Great job, keep up the good work.

For the UC era is second to none.

I get a kick out of this series.

A great installment to the series you're going for. I, once again, like what you did with the character sprites. You hold true to your word of having more action and less story in this one. That would have been a tad problem if the battle scenes were boring, but I thouht they were done very well. I got a good laugh at how X and Megaman were dodging those flames. Audio was good as well, very well placed and chosen (especially the BGM). Keep up the good work on the series, and congrats on your daily 4th trohphey.

CheveLoco responds:

thank you i am glad u liked it

If only I could bottle that and eat it.

That was some damn good stuff. I could spit on the people who deny good flash movies that are based around stick figures. Your visuals were awesome, I couldn't believe how well-drawn the room was in the last battle scene; very cool. Your audio was amazing, it fit the mood perfectly and modified this movies emotion and feel ten-fold. The only thing that was a little off was the voice acting, but that was just at the beginning. It was towards the end that you really put some emotion in the characters' voices and I thought that was pretty damn cool, since voice acting is no easy task to nail down correctly; so perfect 10 on audio. Style was amazing, you could scoop some badass-ness out of that last fight scene and still have enough style to give it a good rating. Very cool movie, I applaud to you and whoever else helped you work on. Excellent job.

Wow, better than the first? Mhm, mhm.

Awesome, I can't believe you continued this story as well as you did. I mean...wow, it's like the world just keeps getting deeper and deeper; you must have quite the imagination. Only on rare occasion do I rate sprite based movies so high, but there's so much story and creativity here, you've basically made the sprites you're own charactes and world. That labrynth part was awesome (I got a good laugh out of the running out of frames part, ha ha). Excellent use of audio, all the right kind of music was in the right spots. It's pretty interesting to see some changes happening inside of the Zero based on what's going on around him. Excellent work, you and the author that's doing the Megaman/X: final battle series really have your work cut out for you. I strongly encourage you to keep up the great work!

P.S. Congrats on your Daily 2nd trophee!
