Great concept, bad delivery.

I like your idea for remembering veterans of American wars, but your flash work on it was horrible. The audio was uncompressed, the only visual work consisted of Alpha tweens, and there were no play/replay buttons. These type of portal submissions are really risky because for one, you have to watch your delivery because the little pissy people who hate america out an "I hate my dad, I need to be a non-conformist" attitude will blam it to hell, and two, you're giving off one hell of a cocky attitude which already gives us Americans a bad rep as it is. Yelling at France and especially Canada isn't the smartest thing to do, since the canadians helped with that whole D-day operation; fyi. God bless america and all that goodness, but an extreme bias and poorly constructed flash just isn't the way to go.

My brother made this in litterally 6 minutes. I don't think he spent all his hard time on it, when he doesn't really no anything about flash. The responds he made are foolish, but some people said "America Sucks" , you have to admit thats uncalled for. But other than that, Europe and Canada are equal to every country. Sorr 'bout that.

A funny little short.

Pretty funny, I like how the ending caught me by surprise. Funny visuals, voice was a little muffled. Nice job, it's worth a good laugh. I'll protect.

Bratha responds:

Thanks, yeah the voice is a bit muffled. I had no microphone at home, so I had to plug headphones into the microphone socket and use them! : )

That tripped me out.

Holy crap, a bunch of walking talking cats in a school yard talking in reason-filled riddles is enough to blow my mind o0 I loved every second of it, ha ha. Your drawing style is awesome, I really like all the different angles you drew you characters at, and especially their clothes; very spiffy. The audio kicked ass, for some reason that groovy music just made sense. Awesome sense of style, I really got a kick out of the movie. Nice job.

SlinkyMalinki responds:

Thanks very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Horrible.

I'm sorry, but this was far too bland. Your story line involves characters that are never seen or heard, which makes for a horrible, horrible delivery of style. The whole thing was a normal day connecting to starcraft; not very exciting. Try to get more conflict or interaction with your characters. The music was nifty, but that was about it. Try harder.

AGhhh!!!!

Dammit, every time I come on Newgrounds, some one gets closer and closer to making the movie I'm busting my ass trying to finsh! Eeek *shivers* Anyways, your intro was done really well and everythign was pretty emotional up until the part where you put the heavy metal music in. I always think that's a big mistake clashing too opposite kinds of music together so abruptly, but the end result wasn't all that bad. The only thing that confused me was the part with a huge vile in mobile armor with a normal sized Vile at the end. In any case, nice job; you can really take the idea places.

S-c-r-a-t-c-h responds:

It's my movie first!! No, j/k, man. Yeah, the music is actualy one song (My last serinade, by Killswitch Engage) so the "clashing" (if you want to call it that) is actualy the band. And the huge vile at the end is just a giant vile robot that the actual vile controls, or something, yeah. Anyway, thanks for the detailed review, I appreciate it!

00hh, explosions.

What a delicious serving of violence and explosions. Hmm, though synj says the 3d work is relatively easy and very basic, I dunno. The work looks well put-together and your execution is very well done. Lord knows I don't vote on visuals as a prime factor, it's just icing on your cake. You seem to know what you're doing with all the screen shakes in sync with explosions and gunshots, so I see little reason to dock you for much of anything other than it's not a true flash movie (I'm a real stickler for that). But then agian, I probably pale in comparisson to synj's knowlege when it comes to 3d, but for the most part, I thought the movie was well delivered. Great job.

Astounding.

Mind blowing visuals and excellent music choice. I can't think of much to compliment this movie that you shouldn't already know. It's damn great, very well constructed. Building leaps by JoeZ were badass. Keep up the awesome work.

I've seen the Madness work and I have to say, even though I personally never thought it could be done, totally outdid yourself. What a badass new set of original battle and flow; the action never stops. The audio just plain kicks ass, it's awesome. The originality in the movements and concept (imporobability drive, if I remembered that right) are put together so stylish, the whole thing feels like art. Very amazing work and classic ending. You blew my mind.

Just amazing.

What an insane amount of detail you put into your figures, your lighting was spectacular. I regretably couldn't watch ALL of if, since I have yet to finish watching the Buu saga -_- But I took into account the amount of painstaking work you must have put in to pull this off. Your audio was just right on; perfectly timed with character expression and scenery damage. And what a scene to replicate, I felt like I was watching the real episode and anticipated what would happen, but I stopped myself. Just the fact that you could pull that off is an amazing accomplishment. Excellent job, this is a great piece of work.

Cheesus, it's, like, perfect!

Granted it's a horrible hurt to see the CC go down, this movie has it all. Your visuals kick major ass, especially the rise of D part. The audio is dead on and your concept on story and flow far surpasses the norm and goes deep into what truly makes a good flash move a damn good flash movie. Excellent job, this is one hell of a movie.
