Trippy

It takes a unique mind to tap into the feeling of Radiohead song in a way that really matched up with the mood and emotion they give off in their music. I think you did a great job of keeping it abstract while conveying emotion that is personal to you. The stairway of death was a really cool feature in the video.

Really enjoyed this.

Nice suspence scenes

Really liked the plot twists in this one. The design on the trees did wonders to set the tone for the environment they were in. Definiitely enjoyed seeing how Altus is involved in the story. The character development and interaction was really something in this episode, I thought it really took the story to a higher level.

Really looking forward to further episodes, I've really enjoyed the story and creativity.

Thanks for going back and reviewing all the episodes.

Interesting story

The story flows nicely in this series, and the puzzle pieces of information have started to come together in an interesting way. I enjoyed the audio that accompanied the storytelling in this episode, and I really liked the intro the the city; it gave the world a touch of culture that I thought made it seems just a little more real.

Creative

Ehem, just wanted to clarify that I meant to write "I *wasn't* expecting such a sharp improvement in visuals" in that last review ^^,

The animation in this one looks great as well, I liked the different angles and concepts of the battle scene between the main character and the robot. I got a kick out the scene where the room blacked out and the battle was dictated by sound for a few moments, it added a nice touch of imagination to the movie.

Vast improvement in visuals

I was expecting such a sharp improvement in the visuals. The walking scene looked great and while the movie was somewhat short, I think the welcome introduction to a more detailed-world makes up for it. The little mushroom men were a nice touch. .

Interesting

The diologue and audio choice for your movies has sparked interest in me to stat checking out all of the series. I enjoy how the simplistic shapes and colors are used, I think it further highlights the element that everything is new and clouded, like the memory of the main character.
I enjoy the flow of the movie to the audio, i think it's done nicely in the episode, especially at the end. The battle scenes could be animated a little faster, but the creativity put into them is enough to make them fine without the need to do so.

Stylish

That was pretty damn funny. Your visuals do a lot for the laid-back mood of the animation, and the story was pretty fun to follow, too. I think if you made the voice acting a bit more distinguished it'd really boost the effectiveness of your characters and their interaction.

I thought that was hilarious how the story didn't brush off the guy walking in on his mom vacuming topless. I'd be pissed as hell if I saw that, too. So when the movie actually resolved that I was pretty impressed. Keep up the great work, SAMV has loads of potential.

Yeah, I think it's about time I pick up a new mic. I spent all of 8 bucks on it at Best Buy last year. Should definately help with the voices. Thanks for the review!

1,000th gladly goes to you.

Chis, wow. That was great!!! I just wasn't expecting it to be anything like that! The message is really strong and sharp, and it's done in such a cool way! The graphics were freakishly cute and they really set the bar for a unique movie. The music goes great with it; I thought it was the perfect choice. I put a final 10 in humor because I couldn't help but just laugh at how well the ending works and remembering how old you are!!!

I gladly give you my 1000th Portal Review ^^ I hope you keep using flash to show the world your art for a long time, Chis =)

Originality! In crisp form.

It's great to see material that deviates from the norm on the portal. I gave you a nine for visuals because the photo quality is so crisp; I'm glad you didn't sacrifice too much photo quality for space. The audio was great. The narration was so smooth and witty I thught you wbere Mike Laskaris from Bob the Ball, ha ha. Sadly, I think this should be Prascilla's first and last appearance for obvious reasons, but you're probably way ahead of me on that one. Nice way of getting Gel "in" the movie, I got a good laugh out of that.

Cool, simple movie; I enjoyed it. Keep up the great work on your music, too!

Dustball responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it. Yes, maybe Priscilla will stick to just doing voices from now on!

Wicked

While it was short, the atmosphere of the movie is really tense and there's a quick attatchment to the characters; especially the main one for obvious reasons. Very cool short. Good audio and devilish style.
